ADAMS, Fount - Putnam

ROACHDALE - Fount Adams, 85, of Rt. 1, Roachdale, died Saturday in Cold Springs Veterans Hospital in Indianapolis. He had been in failing health for several months, Mr. Adams was a veteran of World War I. He was born Feb. 7, 1887, a son of Ed and Rachel Pitman Adams. He is survived by a half-brother, Glen Hyten; one nephew, Eddie Adams of Georgia; two nieces, Rosla Sparks of Kewanna, Ind., and Mary Sappenfield of Rockfield. Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Perkins Funeral Home in Roachdale. Rev. Curtis Southwood will officiate. Burial will be in LaFollette Cemetery.
